WWOOF Host Farms

   WWOOF Romania Host Farms come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Some are biodynamic gardens, some are small family farms, and some produce organic products for sale at markets and shops throughout Romania. The reasons for becoming a host farm are just as diverse: some host farmers are interested in learning and sharing techniques with other farmers, some just want help with difficult work, and some want to meet new people from other parts of the world. Whatever the reasons, if you are interested in becoming a WWOOF Romania Host Farm please read below to see if you match the criteria.

Who can become a Host Farm

   WWOOF Romania accepts host farms that practice some form of ecologically friendly agriculture. We are interested in farmers who seek to grow healthy food and plants in methods which have a low negative impact on the surrounding environment.
    Farms who would like to join WWOOF Romania DO NOT need to be certified organic, our listings are open to bio-dynamic farms and other small-scale sustainable farms.

Duties of the Host Farm

   WWOOF Host Farms are expected to provide clean, safe and comfortable living arangements for volunteers, as well as daily meals. Host Farms are expected to treat their volunteers as they would any guest.
   Give us a brief description of your farm and the activities that you would like WWOOFers to do. This information will be made available to potential volunteers who will then contact your farm in order to discuss a work arrangement.
   The terms of your work arrangement are to be agreed upon by you and the volunteer. You have the right to say no to volunteers if you feel their stay would not provide mutual benefits to both parties.

How to apply as a Host Farm

A. Send an email to wwoofromania@gmail.com
B. Title your email "WWOOF HOST APPLICATION"
C. Copy the Application Form (below) into the email, and provide information for each point (in Romanian and English if possible)

D. You will recieve a response from WWOOF Romania within one month.
E. Only Members of WWOOF Romania (registered volunteers) will see your contact information (Name, Phone Number, Email, and Judet).
*Your Address will not be posted anywhere on the site, WWOOF Romania just needs it for our records.
F. Non-Members (the general public) can only view a description of your farm.
