It is a great place for families with children to spend a nice and interesting holiday...kids have a big yard to play and lots of things to feed their curious minds.

Languages spoken on the farm:
English Romanian Spanish
Description of the area:
The farm is located about 35 km from Bucharest, so when you want to visit the city is easy (about 40 minutes by local mini-bus). We are close to a forest, and the village is surrounded by farmland cultivated by the inhabitants of the village.
What do you grow on the farm:
We grow all kinds of vegetables, we have a cow, chicken, ducks
the house with yard and garden is about 1500 sqm but we also have farmland located outside the village where we cultivate hay, corn, wheat, etc
Months when they accept voulteers:
you are welcome from May to September
You can join us in our daily farm work which depends on the period of the year: cultivating veggies, weeding, harvesting, or just taking care of the cow, chicken, ducks :) any kind of help is welcome! We just want you to enjoy and share our cultures. We have bikes so the volunteers can have a ride to the village, to the forest, etc
We can accomodate 1-4 people
We can cook vegetarian, gluten/lactose free if necessary
A few words about the family:
We are an out going family, we lived in Spain for about 7 years and now we are back to our farm. We love to meet new people and learn about other cultures but also share our own. Our three daughters live abroad but in summer they come to visit and we are so happy to have our grandchildren at the farm...so if you have kids they will find a playmate.
